Thank you for shopping with VelaFit ! If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re happy to accept returns and refund requests under the following conditions:

1. Cooling-Off Period Return Policy

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you are entitled to cancel your order and request a return within 14 days of receiving your items, without providing a reason.

Note: The 14-day Cooling-Off Period return policy applies only to customers located in the European Union (EU). This right does not apply to customers outside the EU region.

For customers outside the EU: The return period is 30 days from the date of receipt.

  • Cooling-Off Period Duration: The 14-day period begins the day after you receive your items.

  • Refund Details: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned items, including the cost of the product and the original standard delivery charge (if applicable). Any additional charges for expedited or premium delivery will not be refunded.
  • Return Shipping Costs: Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning the items.

2. Items Not Eligible for Returns

The following items are excluded from the cooling-off period and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Used or Played Paddles: Any paddle that shows visible signs of use, such as scratches, ball marks, edge guard wear, or grip discoloration.
  • Customized or Personalized Products: Paddles with custom printing, engraving, or modifications (e.g., altered grips, lead tape, or edge tape applied).
  • Damaged Items Due to Improper Use: Products damaged by misuse, impacts, or exposure to extreme conditions (heat, water, etc.) are not eligible for return.
  • Opened Accessory Packages: Accessories such as paddle covers, protective edge tape, or grips cannot be returned once opened unless defective.
  • Non-Resalable Condition: Items without original packaging, protective films, or missing included accessories (such as covers or tape) cannot be accepted for return.

3. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your paddle or accessory is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the order. We will provide a replacement or full refund free of charge.

  • Proof Required: Please provide clear photos or videos of the defective or damaged item to help us resolve the issue promptly.
  • Return Costs: For faulty or incorrect items, we will cover the cost of return shipping.

4. How to Return Your Items

  • Items must be in their original, unused condition, with all packaging, accessories, and protective films intact.
  • Products should be securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit.
  • Returns must be shipped back within 7 days after you receive the return authorization email.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, with protective film intact, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, please contact us at support@velafit.com. Once we verify your eligibility, we’ll send you a return address and shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  1. If you are not satisfied with your paddle and meet the return conditions, please return it to us in its original condition within the allowed return period. We will refund you the full cost of the item (excluding postage).
  2. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to request a replacement. In some cases, we may ask for photos of the damaged item to investigate the issue.
  3. If you need a refund or exchange, please email us at support@velafit.com and include product photos, order ID, and reasons for exchange or return. We reserve the right to decline requests that do not meet our return criteria. You can always reach us for any return-related inquiries at support@velafit.com.

Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the paddle or accessory is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can make it right promptly.

Exceptions / non-returnable items: We do not accept returns for items that have been used, modified, or show visible signs of wear (e.g., scratches, dents, or grip marks). Please contact us if you have any doubts about your eligibility before initiating a return. Sale items and gift cards are non-refundable.

Exchanges: The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the unused product first; once the return is accepted, place a new order for the desired model.

Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note it can take additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.

Important Notice: For safety and product integrity reasons, once a paddle has been used, protective film removed, or visible wear marks appear, it cannot be returned or exchanged. Please inspect your paddle upon receipt before first use. If you have questions, contact us — we’re here to help!
